Visit the Land Down Under in this exciting program about the animals of Australia!  Learn about marsupials, monotremes, and other remarkable mammals.  Students will have the opportunity to discover Australia's zany zoology through stories, songs, informational text, reader's theater and a hands-on activity. 

Recommended for grade K-2

Aussies in the Land of "Oz"

Have you ever wondered about life in the Land Down Under?  Learn about boomerangs, crocodile hunters, and the real reasons behind people settling in Australia.  The differences in "American" English and "Australian" English will also be explored through stories, informational text, and a hands-on activity.
